Ray Jones may be the only guy in America who has been kicked around by the press more than Richard Nixon. After 15 years in newspaper work, he entered the PR world and found out what “damage control” was really all about. During a dozen years in higher ed settings he handled everything from grades-for-sex scandals to animal rights confrontations and criminal investigations (of his bosses!). And he was expecting “easy stuff” like panty raids! Marketing efforts for his PR firm, MEDIA INK Communications, were inspired by the original brand strategist, Diogenes.
